How to connect your Coinbase Prime account to CoinTracker

Connecting your Coinbase Prime account to CoinTracker

  1. Sign in to Coinbase Prime
  2. If your entity has multiple portfolios, select the portfolio that you wish to sync to CoinTracker
  3. Navigate to the Settings page
  4. Navigate to the APIs page
  5. Create a portfolio API key
    1. Enter an API Name
    2. For Access Type, select 'Read' only
    3. Optionally set an expiration date or leave as Never
    4. Continue
  6. If necessary, have approvers within your organization approve the API key
  7. Once consensus is reached and the API key is generated, take note of the Access Key, Passphrase, and Signing Key.
  8. Enter the following into CoinTracker:
    1. In the API Key field, enter your Access Key
    2. In the API Secret field, enter your Signing Key
    3. In the Passphrase field, enter your Passphrase
  9. Select 'Add Coinbase Prime' and your portfolio will begin to sync
  10. Repeat the above steps for any additional portfolios you wish to sync to CoinTracker

Note: Allocated trades on Coinbase Prime are not yet supported. If you have allocated any trades to multiple portfolios, those allocated trades should be manually adjusted in CoinTracker.
